FAQ

Why custodial?

When you originally apply, you put a preference for each role you're interested in. Custodial was not one of them for me. But the more research I did, the more perfect it seemed. Custodial Guest Services have the most freedom to move around their locations, interact with guests and make magical moments. They get to have awesome experiences (if you're lucky) like seeing the inside of Haunted Mansion or Space Mountain. Also important to me, I wouldn't have to work with food and meat, and it wouldn't be a very high stress role. In the end, it sounded like a great role for me. Not to mention, the company employs so many custodial cast members that the bathrooms never really get genuinely "dirty" so I'll just be maintaining cleanliness. At the very end of my phone interview, I just added in that I'd be grateful for any role, including custodial, and lo and behold! That's what I got :)

When do you leave? When do you come back?

My dates are January 26th through May 15th 2015!

Are you going to be [friends with] Belle?

As much as I would be absolutely thrilled to be friends with Belle, that's just not in the cards for me. Although she's friendly and wonderful, it is EXTREMELY competitive and difficult to become friends with her. Also, I'm 5'11", so it's just not going to happen. But an evil stepsister would be cool.

Did you know your roommates beforehand?

No I did not! I met them through Facebook before we arrived and we agreed to live together but we didn't meet until we all arrived in Florida! You can read more here:
